What is mindfulness & meditation?
In our sessions, mindfulness isn’t about sitting perfectly still for long periods. It’s a journey of exploring, noticing, and having fun along the way.
Mindfulness
Is simply about noticing what’s happening right now – our thoughts, our feelings, and the world around us – without any pressure to change them.
It’s like taking a friendly, curious look at our own inner world.
Meditation
Gives children easy, practical tools – like gentle breathing, mindful movement, and creative imagination.
To help them pause, reset, and feel more settled when the world feels a bit too loud.
How it helps children
In a world that often feels fast-paced and full of “must-dos,” children can sometimes find it hard to navigate their big feelings or find a moment of quiet.
When we give them the space to slow down, tune in, and simply listen to their own breath, everything starts to feel a little more settled.
By learning to connect with the present moment, children find a sense of calm that stays with them.
This practice goes beyond being still or sitting quietly – it’s about nurturing the self-awareness and emotional strength that helps them feel more at ease in a busy world.

About me
I’m a registered primary school teacher with over 16 years of experience working with children. Over the years, I’ve seen just how important emotional wellbeing is – not just for learning, but for happiness. That’s what led me to train as a certified mindfulness and meditation teacher.
I now focus on offering children’s mindfulness and meditation sessions, creating calm, supportive spaces where children can slow down, explore their feelings, and build confidence. I believe every child deserves a space where they can feel safe, understood, and free to just be.
